About us

Remember, remember the fifth of November!

Plymouth’s spectacular Bonfire Night celebration on 5 November is a safe and free way to spend the most explosive night of the year.

Watch as the huge bonfire is lit, then gaze in awe at the brilliant firework display. If you’re feeling brave enough, have a go on the fairground rides or warm up with a bite to eat from one of the food stalls.

There will be very limited availability for Blue Badge parking via Elliott Street. Please see the ‘How to get here’ section below for more information on parking.

Accessible Viewing Area

There will be a specific accessible viewing area on top of the Belvedere at the Western end of the Hoe. This is on level tarmac. If you wish to access the viewing area whilst avoiding the crowds, we suggest you use the Elliot Street entrance of the Hoe which is a short distance across the promenade on level tarmac. The viewing area is also close to the disabled parking (see below) and accessible toilets and will be regularly patrolled by our friendly stewards and security team.

Event Information

There will be many stewards across the event on Plymouth Hoe, who will always be very happy to help. They will be wearing white high viz tabards so please ask them if you have any questions.

Toilets

There are accessible toilets at both ends of the Hoe. The new permanent public toilets at the East end of the Hoe include six unisex toilets, with one additional accessible toilet and large, accessible changing room. This means the new facilities can be used safely and comfortably by all people with disabilities.
