Trong thế kỷ qua, đã có nhiều thay đổi đáng kể trong cách chúng ta sống. Rõ ràng, khó có thể so sánh cuộc sống của người cổ đại và cuộc sống của người dân thế kỷ XXI vì quá nhiều biến động đã xảy ra. Tuy nhiên, ngay cả những thay đổi đã diễn ra trong vòng mười năm qua cũng đáng kinh ngạc.

Để bắt đầu, mọi người đã không thể đi những quãng đường dài trong một khoảng thời gian ngắn như vậy. Máy bay khi đó không phổ biến vì chúng từng là phương tiện giao thông rất đắt đỏ.
